A Values Education Investigation of Folk Songs in Elementary School Music Textbooks

The aim of this descriptive study was to examine the values in Turkish Folk Music songs included elementary school music textbooks developed line with 2018 curriculum Turkey. In sense, 44 folk used Turkey 2019-2020 academic year were investigated order reveal these songs. Content analysis adopted study. findings showed that generally consisted which love, patriotism and courage addressed. context, 20 value love 4 are textbooks. addition, it found there four local values, two compassion, one kinship,one perseverance, belonging.
